[DUMP] HTC Hero GSM System Dump v2.1 w/Espresso [12/24/2009]

Below is a system dump from the HTC Hero GSM.

The Dump is Android 2.1 and has the updated Espresso UI (See Screen Shots Below)

UPDATE: It has been said that this dump may be bad! If you have downloaded this Dump and played, can you pleae confirm what is insisde it. For now, I would take caution until we confirm the contents.

wowwww..... are you serious? i hate this new "espresso" UI. the bottom dock looks hideous along with those bubbles.

the new espresso ui looks awesome and I can't wait to see roms coming out of this system dump!

hahha, as you can see by my registration time, i registered to this site for the sole purpose of complaining about how espresso looks hideous. and now it looks like you registered for the sole purpose of replying to my complaint.

Wow first u take the screenshot taken from http://twitpic.com/uckbw
which belongs to LoxDev at HTCPedia and then u use the leaked rom we got and repackage it as a GSM Hero dump and say its the new UI for GSM Hero?! I md5summed the whole "dump" u got and everything is the same, apart from that u guys addded a few files and changed the build.prop, so my questions is how the f did u get this dump? and why take screenshots from another developer and take credits that the work is yours?

How can I sign it so I can install it in my hero? Or can you do it and upload it?

By "you" I'm assuming you mean AndroidSPIN or me directly. That would be an incorrect statment. This release came from a source of ours as did the screen shots. If you have any issues with someone leaking software from your team, then I guess you have a real problem with your team. But please don't come here with such allogations. I don't develop, I wouldn't know how to repackage the ROM and I suggest you check your loyalties with your team members if this is infact a ROM that your team developed.

At AndroidSPIN we will release software, in any form, from verified sources and we do not go around taking other peoples wares and repackaging them as our own.

Those screenshots are obviously copied from LoxDev. You should be kicking your source's ass instead of bashing one of the greatest Hero rom devs!

Are you seriously surprised he's angry? The Hero dev community isn't that big, at least have the decency to check your sources and give credit where credit is due.

I see that about the screen shots, but also I'm no ROM developer so there has been and is no way for me to see who created this ROM and where it came from.
I never gave credit to anyone or bashed any developers. If someone else leaked the ROM to someone else and it ended up being passed to AndroidSPIN for release to the community, then how is that bashing any developers. There is obviously something going on that Im not aware of nor want to be a part of, we are a community site and if someone passes something to us for release and I know that person, then it get's released.
Who ever made this made this ROM, Kudos, and if that was LoxDev then thumbs up to him.
This feud has nothing to do with the AndroidSPIN.
