Google Nexus 7 and USB OTG Support
Google Nexus 7 and USB OTG Support.
OTG = On-The-Go
According to the information floating around the internet, the Google Nexus 7 does not currently support USB OTG, but the hardware support may be there to support USB-host functionality.
This hopefully means that a software update will enable USB OTG support USB-host functionality in the future.
Some articles have stated that Keyboard and Mouse support is already there, but I haven't been able to confirm this yet as I don't have the required adapter.
USB OTG allows the connection of host devices such as keyboards and mice, and more importantly external storage devices.
If anyone had any other information to confirm of this functionality, we'd love to hear it.

Re: Google Nexus 7 and USB OTG Support
There are a lot of people testing out the functionality of the Nexus 7 and the use of USB adapters for storage etc.
RMXO from XDA Develoeprs has been doing some extensive testig using Powered USB hubs and had some positive results.
It appears that a device formatted with FAT file system does not work, but using Ext3 and Ext4 does work.
You can check out his results here
