No I don't thing so that this one could beat the iPad. However, it might be a few bucks cheaper attracting buyers who don't have the buying capacity for purchasing iPad. The touch screen is not looking that much sensitive as compared to the iPad and the design seems to copied as well. I haven't been a user of iPad so can't tell exactly which one is better but still looking to buy an iPad soon not this one.
